Peter Rose is a MDes Strategic Foresight and Innovation Candidate.  His research includes the design of interventions to enable shoppers to choose climate friendly products (those products with low CO2e impacts).  Aligned with the Super Ordinary lab his research takes a Human Centered Design (HCD) philosophy which investigates, through ethnographic research, how shoppers make decisions in grocery retail settings.  This information is leveraged to develop concepts that could nudge or empower shoppers to find and purchase lowest carbon item In a particular product category.

In addition to this research Peter is also investigating the major drivers that are shaping how carbon information will be displayed to Canadian shoppers ten years into the future, using a combination of literature review, expert consultation and the Cone of Plausibility Foresight Method.
